Business Management

Business Management

Known as the “generic” business major, Business Administration and Management is all about learning how to be a boss – how to run a successful, competitive company while dealing with clients, employees, and shareholders.

While in the program, you can expect to take courses in math (economics, finance, accounting, and statistics); organizational management; human resources; business law and ethics; public relations; advertising; and more. You'll also give a number of presentations and create well-researched reports, and work in groups, since that is what managing a business is all about.

Some schools require students to concentrate in a certain area of business management while completing the program. Concentrations help you prepare for a certain sector of management or type of business.
